Meet Maryam

Maryam Archer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over seven years of experience working in the mental health field. Maryam has worked with adults, children, teens, and the geriatric population who experience depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, and personality disorders.

Maryam completed her Master of Social Work degree from The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2021. She is also a Safe Space provider for the LGBTQIA+ community. She spearheaded the first LGBTQIA+ peer support group for Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville and facilitated the first two cycles of the 8 weeks long support group.

Maryam is a firm believer that everyone can live a full and rewarding life if they are willing to put the work in and allow themselves to be vulnerable. She incorporates evidenced based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered approaches, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Techniques.

When Maryam is not working, she is managing her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school and training in the art of Jiu Jitsu as well. She believes in a balanced life which consists of training the mind, body, and spirit. She loves to work out, visit the beach, paint, and enjoy her 3-year-old Pomsky named Ruby.
